We've been inspired by the beautiful blooms of spring and decided to plant our own little garden! The little bit of unpaved earth just outside our back door has never grown much of anything... but with a lot of hard work and a lot of learning ;) we're hoping to see a lovely flower garden in a few months! Shannon did a great job building a box for us to plant in and got some great soil from the Wheatley's farmhouse in Odenville. So far so good! We've replanted some potted flowers that took to their new home quite nicely and the rest were just seeds so we'll see some new growth in the next couple of weeks (we hope!). We're also going to try our hand at growing a couple tomato plants! It's been really fun so far and Riley especially enjoys the extra time outdoors. Wish us luck! We'll post pictures soon.
