We're almost through Week 3 in our new town, and things have been great so far! The traffic really isn't bad from our side of town, thank goodness. But tonight will be our first MARTA experience - eek! ;) This weekend's are the last home games for the Braves this season so we're checking that out tonight. Pretty excited about that. We're all unpacked and settled in and loving our new house. So we're ready for guests anytime y'all want to come visit :) We love our neighborhood; there's a lot going on and they have a pretty active Neighborhood Association. We're having a block party one weekend and a neighborhood yard sale the next, so fun times there. It's an interesting mix of people so we really like it so far.
Still learning our way around, but we're really close to everything so that's awesome. David will be happy to hear that we ate at Taqueria del Sol last night and it was good. Still have to try out the Flying Biscuit though... will let you know.
Shannon's wrapping his 3rd week there this week too. He's really liking it and everyone's super-nice. His building is huge and they have a ton of cool stuff going on, it's really neat to see the ginormous jets that close-up and they're right at the end of the runway so he can see the take-offs all day long too. I started work again on Monday, and love working from home. Riley is keeping me company, and she always has to be in the middle of what I'm doing and kept wanting in my lap so I gave her her own corner of the desk. She loves looking out the window (and chasing the neighbor's cat, but that's a whole other topic).
And that's about it. The move-in went smoothly and it feels like home now :) We hope to start travelling next month, so we'll keep you posted on our adventures and in the meantime, come see us when you can!
