Wonderful weekend!

We spent the holiday weekend at the lovely Varnell cabin in Lake Lahusage, a small community between Cloudland, GA and Mentone, AL. We were there this same time last year and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. It's so peaceful there, and this weekend the river was frozen almost completely across, which made for a fantastic view from the cabin windows. Riley enjoyed playing fetch ON the river instead of IN the river ;) We even got some snow on Saturday afternoon and it was just gorgeous. We made the short drive over to Desoto Falls on Sunday and the wind blowing against the falls made snow right there in front of us! So cool! You can see pictures from our weekend here.
