What a wonderful anniversary! Dinner at one of our favorite romantic spots, an after dinner walk around our favorite neighborhood, perfect walking weather, great company of course, and the most delectable caramel cake in all the land. Well done, us!
The anniversary gift for year four is fruit and flowers (traditional) and/or appliances (modern). How fitting, right? We were all about the buying appliances (fridge for Shannon and range and dishwasher for me, in case you were wondering;). But we agreed it wasn't super romantic... and then Shannon, being the super (and sweet) genius he is, got us another gift too - a lemon tree! It's fruit AND flowers, for many years to come :) Hurrah!
