Tourists for a Day

Today we played the part of tourists in our own city - checking out a wonderful tour of the Fox Theatre, and a long overdue trip to the museum at Turner Field. They were both awesome and we highly recommend them, but I'm a sucker for the hometown team and loved the behind-the-scenes action of the Turner Field tour. We got to see the luxury suites, the pressbox and clubhouse, and even got to walk out onto the field. So cool!

We also had lunch at a yummy cuban place called Las Palmeras in Midtown. We've been trying to branch out and try some different restaurants since we tend to go to our old standards over and over. So far, so good. My urbanspoon wishlist is beefed up and we've already crossed off over a dozen this year. Yippeee!
