Happy Holidays!

Hopefully by now you've received our holiday postcard. We love this time of year because of the joyous celebration it entails - the birth of our savior - but also because it has a way of bringing folks together. It's so nice to slow down from the crazy pace that dominates the rest of the year and taking time to catch up with family and friends. We also take time to reflect on the many blessings we've been grateful to experience over the past year. This year, that includes so very many, including each of you. Thank you for your love and support, friendship and kindness.

We also celebrated some milestones this year - Shannon turned 30, which we celebrated two very special very Shannon ways - skydiving and a canoeing camping trip. He also bought a motorcyle in in January, aptly named Ruby Sue (she has her own blog, of course;). We took a BIG trip to northern Italy - which was truly the trip of a lifetime. Not sure how we'll top that one! Our sweet pup Riley, whom we lovingly call our stay-at-home chihuahua, will be NINE in March (unbelievable!), andcontinues to brighten our lives with her silly antics and hilarious personality. You can follow her on twitter! ;) Work continues on our home, which you can read all about here

We hope you take some time this holiday season to connect with family and friends as well, and please keep in touch and let us know what you've been up to. Wishing you every happiness during this most wonderful time of the year!
