Yesterday was the third annual Streets Alive event here in Atlanta, and we finally got our act together to ride together* in the great Atlanta bicycle parade that kicks off the four-hour event, during which Peachtree Street (the major thoroughfare in ATL) is closed to motor vehicles and open for pedestrians and cyclists, skateboarders, etc. Even Riley got in on the action, donning her custom-made matching Hawaiian shirt and riding on our beachy themed tandem.
*Shannon and Mark rode last fall in costume, and Shannon rode solo in the spring where Riley and I met him, not in costume ;)
We had an absolute blast and can't wait for the next event in October on Highland Ave.
