On Sunday we went to the last Braves game of the season - a home game against the DC Nationals.... the guys haven't done so great this year but we love going for the atmosphere and bonus - Creedence was playing a post-game show. But... it was the longest game ever! Ha ha. They were tied up at the end of the ninth and ended going FIFTEEN innings to settle the score... they finally did and we lost. Ah well. Then the band started and played a few songs but it started raining so they had to pack it all up early. They were really good though and we had a great time. The band is called 'Creedence Clearwater Revisited' and it's 2 of the original CCR bandmates who started a reunion tour about 15 years ago. You can read about them here. Poor Braves though... it was 'Fan Appreciation Day' and they were showing videos in between plays of the players thanking the fans for showing their support at Turner Field all year and they all promised to do better next year! Let's hold 'em to it ;)
